Trip Informations
Starting in the chaotic streets of Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City for convenience, this trip takes you through Cambodia and all the way to Thailand's capital, Bangkok. Visit the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, learn the secrets behind Khmer cuisine in Battambang and reflect on Cambodia's tragic history at the sobering sites of Phnom Penh. Journey through three of South East Asia’s most contrasting countries on an adventure that draws you away from the crowds and into the heart and soul of this captivating region.
Why you’ll love this trip
Take a short but sweet adventure that’s packed full of experiences that will give you an insight into Cambodia and the contrasts between three of the region's most fascinating countries.
Watch the sun rising over Angkor Wat as it did over 800 years ago. Wander through the ancient temples on a guided tour – with a three-day Angkor pass to cover your whole time in Siem Reap, you can explore this incredible temple complex as much and as often as you like!
Discover the countryside around Battambang on a bike ride around rural farms to meet with local producers, through an Tuuur partner and social enterprise that supports the local communities and provides training opportunities.
Experience life on the water on a boat tour through the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake and understand the deep bond between the lake and the local communities.
Join in a confronting yet important tour in Phnom Penh to The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and reflect on its devastating impact on the modern Cambodia.

Just incredible from day one. Our guide Sak was funny, kind and so knowledgeable...such great company...thank you Sak! The itinerary was so interesting. There were no average days, they were all as wonderful as the itinerary would suggest. I loved the way we could drop in and out of activities as it suited the individual. It's a busy schedule so not feeling pressure to be 'doing' optional extras was magic....pool time was appreciated! Our group was packed with beautiful, fun people, yours will be too so...book the trip, buy the dress, eat the cake...you won't regret it X

Our Cambodia trip as first-time travellers was unforgettable thanks to our leader Muny who was highly knowledgeable on all things Cambodian. A well-organised tour where we felt safe at all times. We were moved at the Killing Fields, grateful for a homestay, and awed by Angkor Wat. This tour exceeded expectations and we’ll travel again with Intrepid, recommending them highly.

What an amazing trip. Cambodia would have to be up there with the best trip. The people of Cambodia made this trip and their resilience and way they have come back from their past with such positivity in looking towards the future. Stunning countryside along the way.

Our trip to Cambodia was educational and authentic. Our guide helped us understand the culture and people putting this into the historical context so important to understanding Cambodia. An excellent trip.

This Cambodian adventure was amazing! We got to experience the treasure that is Angkor Wat and the heartbreak caused by the genocide. Our guide, Channa, was fantastic, full of lots of local knowledge, a great sense of humour and a real love for her country. Overall, an amazing experience!

Highlights of Cambodia was an apt title. From the horrors of the killing fields to the beauty of the temples, we were amazed by Cambodia. The food was better than anticipated as well.
