Is this trip right for you?

This trip includes time spent travelling in a private vehicle with your group. Extra space can be tight, and conditions may feel a little cramped. It's all part of the adventure and a great way to get to know your fellow travellers. There are a few long days of travel, as you'll be covering a lot of ground. You will, however, make stops at interesting locations to break up the longer drives. Please read the itinerary carefully for travel time estimates.
verified
As a desert country, Morocco can have extreme weather. Please consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season. Refer to the Climate and Seasonal Information section of the Essential Trip Information for more details.
verified
Morocco has a tipping culture and travellers are expected to tip small amounts for most services. Your trip leader and the Money Matters section of the Essential Trip Information can assist you with this.
verified
Although you shouldn’t expect any aggressive selling techniques in Morocco, it’s common to be approached by shop owners and street vendors offering their goods.

We've sourced our accommodation very carefully and picked the best possible hotels in line with the Tuuur style of travel, but please note that service and accommodation in Morocco may differ from standards at home.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

My first trip with Intrepid was amazing and I’d do it again. Research in advance. Manage your expectations, perspectives and perceptions and you will have an amazing time. It’s more than a trip, it’s an immersive experience.

This was the first trip I had ever done with a group and I would 100% recommend this to anyone. The itinerary was packed but not too much so that we didn’t have down time. Our guide, Omar, ensured that we all enjoyed our time and made it that much more fun with personal anecdotes, answering our questions, and joining in on our group dynamic. Morocco is such a beautiful place with a variety of culture and experiences. This trip is the perfect mix of what Morocco has to offer. If you’re on the fence, book the trip! And ask for Omar.

We took the Classic Morocco trip for 8 days end of May and it was very enjoyable. The trip was just right duration for us where we were able to experience the best parts of Morocco. The Sahara camp was the highlight where we experienced rugged desert adventure and still had very comfortable accommodation. The leader Hicham made it even more memorable with his in-depth knowledge of the area and familiarity with locals. The tour also included some unique experiences well curated by Intrepid. I would recommend to extend your stay in Marrakech as there are things to do there and experience where one day may not be adequate
