This was our first Intrepid trip and we will be back for more! We were able to relax and have a good time because all the logistics were taken care of. We loved having all local guides and learned so much about Belize. Our main guide, David, did an amazing job of getting to know everyone in our group and worked hard to make sure we each had what we needed. Our group felt like a (functional) family. The activities were a good mix of educational and active/adventure. Most of the accomodations are not "fancy" and Central America has its challenges, but everything Intrepid could control was good. If you are seeking warmth, cultural understanding and a bit of adventure, this is a great trip to take!
