The Sahara Camp is on the edge of the desert. In 2019, the Moroccan government put measures in place to improve the safety, quality and impact of desert camps, which means that camping inside the Erg Chebbi dunes is no longer possible.

Several days include a great deal of time spent on your feet, particularly Day 5 (Fes) and Day 9 (M’Goun Valley). A moderate level of fitness and comfortable walking shoes will ensure you get the most out of your trip.

I would highly recommend this tour! You see so much of Moroccos incredibly diverse landscape within a highly organised, safe, and interesting tour. I learnt and experienced so many wonderful things that I may not have if it were not for this tour. If you are lucky enough to have Mohamed Idali as your tour leader, you are guaranteed to have a fantastic trip.

Morocco Uncovered delivered far more than we expected. The High Atlas scenery was breathtaking, and the depth of cultural exposure — especially to Berber traditions through homestays and village hikes — was unforgettable. The sheer variety of experiences, from Sahara dunes to ancient medinas, made every day memorable. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this trip very much. It was excellent in variety, history and group experience. Our tour guide Hassan was top. I am very happy to have had Hassan as our guide!!! As well as our driver, Hassan 😃. The tour was quite intense and somewhat tiring towards the end, but well worth it. I enjoyed the country side the most, and the amazigh people we met.
